Black Stars deputy coach Maxwell Konadu has reacted towards the 2018 World Cup draw insisting preparation for the mundial starts from today.

Minutes after the draw, the Ghana technical man tweeted “Preparations start from today. Now that we know our opponents.”

The Black Stars were drawn in Group E with old time foes Egypt and Uganda.

The Black Stars thumped Egypt by 6-1 in Kumasi and lost 2-1 in the return leg in Cairo in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

While Egypt will be looking for scores to settle with the Black Stars after the humiliation in 2013, the Ghanaians will also be looking for a revenge over Uganda after the 2015 Afcon qualifiers.

Uganda picked a pointy at the Baba Yara Stadium in a difficult game for the Black Stars while beating them by a lone goal in the return leg in Uganda.
