Yaw Yeboah named in Ghana U20 squad to face Ethiopia in AYC qualifier return leg

France-based Yaw Yeboah has been invited to join Ghana's U20 squad prepare for their 2017 African Youth Championship second leg qualifier against Ethiopia next week. 

Yeboah, who spent last season on loan at French Ligue 1 side Lille from Manchester City, has already joined the team at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence in Prampram.

He played at the 2015 tournament in Senegal where he was named Most Valuable Player and played at the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.

The 19-year-old comes in with Geoffrey Acheampong of French lower division side Bastia FC as the two foreign based players.

The Black Satellites lost the corresponding fixture 2-1 in Addis Ababa and must overturn the deficit to advance.

The match will be played on 12 June at the new Cape Coast Stadium.
