The 23-year-old is honest enough to admit he only sees Genk as a stepping stone to a bigger club and a move to Emirates Stadium is in his long-term thinking.
After becoming something of a goal machine in Israel, he cost around £650,000 when leaving Hapoel Tel Aviv last week as a move to Europe became inevitable.
Birmingham have previously watched Yeboah, who has two caps for Ghana, and a switch to the Premier League is already in his thinking after he showed potential in this term's Europa League.
"I hope to get to a top European league via Genk," he said. "I dream of Arsenal."
Yeboah's uncle Tony was an explosive success with Leeds in the mid-nineties, scoring 25 times including a couple of goal-of-the-season contenders against Wimbledon and Liverpool.
In an interview with La Voix du Nord, the Togo midfielder said: "Arsenal are the club of my dreams - I hope to play one day in England."
