Fast-rising Great Olympics goalie Ebenezer Odonkor says he takes inspiration from now retired Richard Kingston as he learns to go through the ranks.

Odonkor, has been one of the exciting lights of Olympics who have struggled this season.

“I went to meet him (Richard Kingson) at Olympics, he trained us and told us things you need to do to become a good goalkeeper, “ he said.

“I see him as my role model, he is like a big brother to me and I always call him for advice.

“I watched him when he was playing for the Black Stars and I always wished to become like him.”

The 18-year-old could be in post for Olympics when they take on Medeama on Saturday.
