Ghanaian youngster John Antwi Duku has began trials with Egyptian giants Al Ahly, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 20-year-old striker who played for Sekondi XI Wise looks increasingly likely to seal a move to the record Caf Champions League winners as he has impressed so far in training.

Ahly coach Hossam El-Badri is looking to freshen up his striking options with his current first choices well in the twilight of their careers.

He thus wants to monitor Duku closely before deciding on whether to make a swoop.

Duku emerged the highest goalscorer for XI Wise in the 2008/09 Ghana Premier League season.

He has also played for Wassaman United.
