Ghanaian youth midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan scored the third for Inter Milan in the 4-1 drubbing of Citadella in the Italian Primavera league on Saturday.
Duncan, 19, has been influential in the midfield for Inter’s reserve side and has received the commendation of first team coach Claudio Ranieri.
He was involved in a brilliant sequence of play that resulted in the Nerazurris’ opening goal before getting on the score sheet later in the second half.
He ambled his way into the opposition’s half before dragging a powerful low drive from the edge of the box to make it 3-0 for Inter.
Duncan’s late strike sent Inter through to the quarter-final of the Uefa U19 Champions League last month.
