Ghanaian youngster Mohammed Fatau has joined Spanish La Liga side Granada for pre-season contrary to reports he would be released.
The 21-year-old is expected to undergo the mandatory medical at the club today (Monday).
Head coach Lucas Alcarez wants to work with the midfielder for another season after impressing in the few matches he played lasts term.
Fatau made nine La Liga appearances including six starting roles.
He was signed by Udinese Calcio in 2011 but registered with Granada CF.
