Ghana midfielder Yussif Chibsah has refused to rule out a move to Sandvikens IF as his contract at Gais nears expiration.

The 31-uear-old has been linked to several clubs including The Iron Gang.

Chibsah was rumoured to be on his way towards making a return to Gefle but these reports have been shot down by the club’s sporting director Hasse Berggren.

He now more likely to join Sandvikens IF which is based in Gavleborg where he resides with his family.

The former Asante Kotoko captain admits he is open to such a move as he would love to be close to his family.

“I do not really know. I am open to almost anything,” Chibsah told Gefle Dagblad.

“My family has lived there, wife and a child, and my sister and her children are also close.

“In addition, I still live in my shop in Gavleborg. My contract expires, but it may become so (that I will sign a contract extension).

“I have enjoyed working well there.”

Chibsah joined Gais only earlier this year after a brief spell in Turkey with Alanyaspor.
