Ghanaian forward Nana Poku has denied any knowledge of reports linking him to Tunisian giants Etoile Du Sahel.

The former Berekum Chelsea striker was reported to be heading for the exit door at Egyptian side Zamalek in a swap deal that will Etoile Du Sahel player Amr Mara move the other direction.

The promising marksman has been battling with injuries since joining the White Castles and that has affected his performance - having scored just two goals in 11 appearances.

According to reports, Zamalek manager Khalid Galal has requested for the signing of Amr Mara after growing frustrated with the performance of the Ghanaian forward.

However, the 25-year-old, who is currently in Ghana, insists it's been a long time since he had any contact with Zamalek's officials hence does not know where the reports emanated from.

Nana Poku previously played for Al Shorta, El Makasa, Al Shabab, FC Ashdod and Berekum Chelsea.
