Zlatan: No crisis of confidence at Man Utd

Zlatan Ibrahimovic felt Manchester United could have come away from tonight's clash against Everton with more.

The Red Devils drew 1-1 with the Toffees at Old Trafford courtesy of Zlatan's injury-time penalty, which came after a handball and subsequent red card to Ashley Williams.

Earlier in the contest, United conceded to Phil Jagielka when Williams got a free header in the box before Ibrahimovic was wrongly flagged for offside when heading home what would have been an equaliser on 76 minutes.

Ibrahimovic believes United's performance warranted all three points but admits the team let themselves down by not taking their chances.

"I think we deserved a little bit more," the striker told BT Sport.

"We conceded a goal by a mistake: first we made a mistake by missing Williams's header and then the goal came out of nothing.

"We need to keep focused; we cannot afford these mistakes because it's very important points, especially with the table like it is. We are close but still we don't get the points we need.

"We were attacking for most of the game and we had good chances; we hit the post but we have to do more."

Asked if there is a crisis of confidence at United following a second home draw in four days, Ibrahimovic added: "No, absolutely not. If you're losing 1-0, you need to change your tactics.

"If you do one tactic and don't succeed to break the hole, you need to make changes. That is what the coach sees from the sidelines and we make those changes.

"I think the second half was better; it was a different game compared to the first half because we were attacking much more."
