Ghanaian youngster Arvin Appiah joins Tenerife on a season-long loan from Almeria

English-born Ghanaian attacker Arvin Amoakoh Appiah has been sent on loan to Spanish Segunda Division side CD Tenerife from UD Almeria, GHANAsoccernet.com can report. 

The versatile offensive footballer will play for the blue and white team on a season-long loan during the 2022-23 season.

This will be Appiah's third experience in the Spanish second-tier, a category in which he has already competed with the Andalusian team and at CD Lugo.

The 21-year-old winger sealed his move to Tenerife on the transfer deadline day on Thursday as he seeks for much playing minutes this season.

Appiah has played a total of 67 games in Segunda Division matches since his arrival at Almeria from Nottingham Forest in September 2019.

He played seven games in the Copa Del Rey, scoring four goals and assisting three times.

The talented youngster made 32 appearances for Almeria last season helping the club to secure promotion to the Spanish Primera La Liga.

Even though Appiah was born in Netherlands, he has represented English at the U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels.

He becomes the second Ghanaian player at Tenerife this season after Mohammed Dauda who also joined this summer from Belgian club RSC Anderlecht.
