Nations FC have secured the services of Samuel Osei Kuffour ahead of the start of the 2024/25 football season as they aim to improve on their performance from last season.

The club announced the signing on their social media handles on Tuesday stating “We have another reborn version of a legend. Introducing, Samuel Osei Kuffour.”

Nations FC only gained promotion to the top flight last season and enjoyed a memorable debut campaign where they finished seventh after getting closer to the title at some point.

The Abrankese-based side are now poised to perform better and have been busy in the transfer market to bolster their squad.

They will be opening next season's campaign this weekend against Bechem United. That clash will see Kassim Mingle, Nations FC's boss face his former employers in Kumasi in a high stakes encounter in the Ghana Premier League.

Osei Kuffuor's acquisition is seen as a major boost for the team and is expected to play a key role in the success of the club in the new season.
