Andre Ayew says he is happy at Olympique Marseille after declaring he is proud to be in the books of the club amidst reports about his summer exit.

The Ghana international has been a subject of intense transfer speculation with Italian giants, Napoli having tabled a bid of €14 million for his signature.

Newly appointed coach Marcelo Bielsa has not hidden his desire to hold on to Andre despite the numerous temptations prise him away.

The 24-year-old has been named in Ghana’s 26 provisional World Cup squad and is sure to make the team but for any unforeseen events.

Ayew says he will be happy to see out his contract at the Stade Valedrome.

“In the future things might change but at the moment I am happy as a Marseille player and I am proud to be wearing the jersey,” Ayew told foot-express.com

“I could have gone away two years ago when we did not go to the Champions League but I stayed because when you're in a club like Marseille you know that planning is everything. We'll see what happens but there are all conditions to continue playing with this shirt.”
