Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says Miami’s heat and humidity have been perfect for his team’s preparations for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.

The Black Stars are expecting the oppressive weather conditions in Brazil for the tournament.

Appiah and his final 23-man arrived on 1 June from Rotterdam where they played the Netherlands in a friendly.

“It’s the same as home,” Appiah smiled. “Much hotter.”

The Black Stars will wrap up their preparations with a friendly against South Korea at the Sun Life Stadium.

England played Honduras and Ecuador at the same venue to prepare for the World Cup.
