Ghana defender Jeffry Schlupp has taken delivery of the football boots he intends to use at the 2014 World Cup from manufacturers, Adidas.

The 21-year-old is determined to make his World Cup debut in Brazil having been named in the provisional Black Stars squad for June’s finals in Brazil.

Schlupp is making a return to the Black Stars team since making his debut almost three years ago in a friendly against Gabon.

The Leicester City star is expected to arrive in Ghana next week to begin early preparations with the Black Stars for the World Cup.

His excitement over his return to the Black Stars was taken a notch further after receiving his new ‘World Cup’ boots.

Schlupp posted a picture of his new boots on Twitter and said: “Thanks Adidas UK for the new FIFA World Cup boots! Can’t wait to get them on.”

The new boots is in black and white colours – likened to that of the famous movie; 101 Dalmations with the Adidas stripes in yellow colouring.
