Chelsea's manager Jose Mourinho has ruled out any chance of Ghana progressing beyond the first round of the 2014 World Cup, predicting his native Portugal and Germany will advance from Group G.

The Portuguese gaffer was asked to predict countries he feels can qualify from the various groups and in Ghana's group which includes Germany, Portugal and the United States, he predicted the two European giants will sail through.

However, he predicted the Black Stars will be able to amass points from the group but, not enough to send them through to the second round of the tournament.

Below is his analysis on the group for Yahoo Sports where he is an analyst for the 2014 World Cup.

"In Group G, Mourinho is certain no one will finish with zero points, but he does see Germany finishing top with Portugal behind them. But, he added, that he's afraid for his native Portugal against the U.S.," he predicted.

Ghana open their group campaign with a hugely anticipated game against the United States in Natal on June 16 before taking on Germany in the next game before facing Mourinho's native Portugal in the last game of the group on June 26.
