Ghana defender John Boye could move to Turkey after this month's World Cup as his agent is in talks with Kayserispor, insiders in Turkey have told Ghana's leading football news website GHANAsoccernet.com.

The 27-year-old refused to extend his expiring contract with French side at the end of the season last month which means he will be a free agent when his deal expires at the end of the month.

Now with clubs from Spain, France and England said to be interested in the Ghana international, Turkey is set to be one of his likely of destinations.

According to reports in the Turkish media, the enterprising center-back has began talks with Kayseri Erciyesspor and would reach a deal with them before heading into the World Cup.

Boye refused to sign a new deal at Rennes with the aim of increasing his market value at the World Cup but if the latest reports are anything to go by, he has already decided his next destination.
