Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah says he is enjoying his partnership with John Boye at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The centre-back pair were sloppy in the first match against USA which cost them a 2-1 defeat but looked sturdy against the Germany despite conceded two goals in the 2-2 draw.

Mensah, playing his second World Cup at age 22, he has promised they will meet expectations against Portugal.

“I've played with him quite some time now, and we try and be solid each and every game. We’re doing quite well,” the Evian TG man told FIFA.com

"But I'm not going to say that's the best performance so far, because we've conceded four goals in our last two games, and we're just hoping to do better than we've done in the previous games."

Mensah and Boye must be on top of his game to stop Cristiano Ronaldo and his crew in Brasilia.
