Ex-internationals Otto Addo and Stephen Appiah have joined Ghana’s backroom for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.

Addo, who is a youth team coach at German side Hamburg, has been hired as one of the scouts to help the technical team.

Appiah, ex-Ghana captain, will not be on the bench but expected to help Kwesi Appiah prepare his players for matches.

The pair were both members of Ghana’s squad which played and reached the round 16 stage at the 2006 finals in Germany.

Ghana have arrived at their team camp base in Maceio and trained ahead of Monday’s opener against USA.
