Ghana's Europe-based players started their journey on Monday to Brazzaville for camping ahead of Saturday's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.

Key players Christian Atsu, Baba Rahman, Bernard Mensah and David Accam arrived in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam on Monday morning to catch the flight to Congo.

They will be joined in Amsterdam later in the day by several other players in Avram Grant's 24-man squad for the match before they fly out by KLM to the Congolese capital.

England-based Atsu, who was Africa's best player in the competition's top-competition earlier this year, says he is delighted to have met his brothers.

"With my brothers to Congo," the Bournemouth playmaker tweeted along with a picture of the other players he met in Amsterdam.

The Black Stars are camping in Congo ahead of the match against Rwanda and they will play Congo on Tuesday night.
