Former Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has sent a goodwill message to the Black Starlets ahead of their Wednesday's round of 16 clash against Niger at the ongoing U-17 FIFA World Cup.

The two-time world champions will engage their West African counterparts the young Menas of Niger in a repeat of the semifinal clash between the two sides in the Africa Youth Championship in Gabon earlier this year.

Ghana won the match in the penalties shoot-outs before losing 1-0 to Mali in the grand final.

Ghana amassed six points in Group A, a group which consisted host country India, USA and Colombia while Niger accumulated just three points in Group D, but progressed as one of the best third placed sides.

Yatsuhashi took to twitter to wish the Black Starlets good luck ahead of the much-anticipated clash.
