WAFA SC return home after that nightmarish trip to Accra to face title contenders Aduana Stars in Sogakope on Wednesday afternoon.
The Academy Boys were shambolic at the Accra Sports Stadium and were walloped 4-1 by Legon Cities.
It was also their first defeat of the season and they need to bounce back
Head coach Prosper Narteh explained: ''I don't believe in attributions, but I think the rain caused us a lot because my boys couldn't stay on their feet- they were slipping most of the time and apart from that too, I think we lost a bit of a concentration at the back especially when we were on the offence to go and score.
''I think they left so many people behind [inside our half] and anytime we lost the ball there, they quickly took advantage of that. It's part of the game.''
The University lecturer has a difficult task of restoring confidence in his boys to face the defending champions.
Aduana Stars have managed two away wins in six matches so at least they can bite when you least expect them to.
The Fire Boys should be able to take advantage of the low morale in the camp of their hosts and earn a decent result.
Prediction:
WAFA 1-0 Aduana Stars
