2019/20 Ghana Premier League: Week 15 Preview - Inter Allies v Asante Kotoko

Published on: 15 March 2020

Asante Kotoko will be hoping to recover from their surprise draw against Elmina Sharks and move up the Ghana Premier League table when they take on Inter Allies in Accra on Monday afternoon.

After back to back wins, the Porcupine Warriors were held to a draw by Sharks thereby missing the opportunity to go second in the league.

However, another chance has been presented to them after Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea failed to win on Sunday.

A win for Kotoko against Allies will see them go second, just a point behind leaders Medeama.

Inter Allies have been inconsistent but their recent form gives them utmost confidence that they can get something positive from the game.

They drew 1-1 with Hearts before securing a massive 3-2 victory in Dansoman against Liberty Professionals in their last two matches.

Allies also have their talismanic captain Victorien Adebayor in great form. He has 12 goals and will be aiming to increase it against Kotoko.

The last time the two teams met in Accra Inter Allies won by a lone goal. However, Kotoko have nine wins in total out of the nine meetings. (3D, 2L)

Prediction: Inter Allies 1-2 Asante Kotoko
