Aduana Stars suffered their first defeat of the season with Eleven Wonders scoring their first goal of the season to secure a vital win 1-0 over Ghana Premier League leaders on Wednesday.

It is the very first victory of the season for the Techiman based side whilst Aduana Stars also lost for the first time this season and lost their perfect record.

The hosts had three alterations in their squad that lost 2-0 to AshantiGold SC last Sunday with Abdul Mugeese Zakaria and Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah earning their first starts of the season.

Midfielder Prince Baffoe was also handed his maiden appearance for the Eleven Wonders.

Aduana Stars also saw three changes in their set-up as Musah Amevor was given his full debut.

Benjamin Owusu and Alfred Opoku got their very first starting roles against their former club.

The only goal of the encounter came on the stroke of halftime through Asamoah from the spot.

The Fire Boys tried coming back in the game as they searched for the equaliser but their efforts were dealt with by the defence of the home side.

Eleven Wonders will make short trip to Bechem on Sunday as Aduana Stars host Legon Cities in Dormaa Ahenkro same day.
