2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Aduana Stars coach Asare Bediako targets top-four finish

Aduana Stars coach Stephen Asare Bediako is targeting a top-four finish in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

The former Berekum Chelsea coach was handed in first defeat as coach of Aduana Stars on matchday 18 fixture against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians revenge their first-leg defeat with a 2-0 win over Aduana Stars.

Isaac Aidoo and an own goal from Hafiz Adams gave the Accra-based side the three points in this entertaining game,

Asare Bediako, a former deputy coach of Hearts of Oak blamed the defeat on his players saying they failed to heed to his instructions

"We lost the game I the first half because what I told them in the first half they didn't do it. They were supposed to press but Hearts of Oak did that.

"They were supposed to press and mark one and one. When we went to recess I told them to do so we can get the equalizer. I told them to press because that was the training we had in the week but they didn't do it".

Bediako added, "For me my target is to finish in the top four this season".

Aduana Stars is currently placed ninth on the league table with 24 points.

Aduana Stars host King Faisal on matchday 19 at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa.
