Four coaches are up for the coach of the month award for January following their nominations after an impressive performances.
The Ghana Football Association on Saturday morning announced the nominees for the for the January award.
Bechem United trainer Kwaku Danso won the award for the previous month after guiding the side to the top of the league log.
The four coaches nominated are:
Bashir Hayford (Legon Cities FC)
Hayford led his team to secure three wins out of the five matches played in the month which have seen them move out of the relegation zone. They clinched a vital away victory over city rivals Inter Allies FC in the process. - 9 points
Johnson Smith (Asante Kotoko SC)
The stop-gap coach of the Porcupine Warriors guided the team to two wins and two draws in January. They suffered a 1-0 home loss to Aduana Stars. - 8 points
Augustine Evans Adotey (Karela United FC)
Karela are currently leaders of the premiership standings. They won three games and drew one and lost once in the month of January. All three wins came at home and the draw was at away to Great Olympics. - 10 points
Vladislav Viric (Dreams FC)
The Serbian trainer since taking over the team has not lost a single game. They were unbeaten in January having managed two wins and three draws in the process. - 9 points
