Karela United FC midfielder Umar Bashiru collected his second Man-of-the-Match award in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season after his distinctive performance against King Faisal on matchday 5 on Sunday.
Bashiru once again displayed his importance to the Anyinase-based side after helping the club win their third win of the campaign.
Despite not registering his name on the scoresheet, the lanky midfielder’s intelligence and work rate made a huge difference in the 2-0 victory against the struggling King Faisal side.
His overall performance was rewarded with the Man-of-the-Match accolade.
