Inter Allies winger Alex Aso has been named Most Valuable Player in his side's 2-0 win over Elmina Sharks on matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League.

The tricky winger had a hand in both Inter Allies goals after getting fouled twice in the box to earn the Eleven is to One Boys two penalties in the game.

He was first impeded in the 46th minute as the referee awarded Inter Allies a penalty, which was converted by Samuel Armah.

Aso again weaved his way into the box and was brought down to give his side the second penalty which was slotted home by Andy Okpe.

The win is a morale booster for the relegation-threatened Inter Allies who are seeking to avoid the drop.
