WAFA midfielder Enoch Asubonteng was adjudged Man of the Match in Saturday's 1-0 win over Inter Allies in Sogakope.
This is the first time the youngster has picked up the award which is sponsored by NASCO Electronics.
He was not on target but put up a typified performance to ensure his side won on the afternoon.
WAFA's goal was scored by Alhassan Seidu in the 5th minute.
The victory ensured the Academy Boys climbed up to third on the Ghana Premier League table.
WAFA had to do it the hard way after goalkeeper Boliver Owusu saved a 15th minute penalty.
