2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Week 1 Match Report - Ebusua Dwarfs 2-2 Elmina Sharks

The first instalment of the Central Region derby between Ebusua Dwarfs and Elmina Sharks ended in dramatic fashion after goalkeeper Razak Issah scored a late equaliser to hand the home side a share of the spoil in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The 2-2 draw at the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday is a true reflection of the game as the two teams gave their all.

However, Sharks would be disappointed because they were a few minutes away from victory.

Dwarfs went ahead in the 40th minute after Dennis Korsah-Akoumah scored a penalty.

The lead lasted for just a minute as the experienced Richard Mpong restored parity for the away side.

In the 57th minute, Sharks took the lead courtesy a fine effort by Ishmael Hammond.

They held on the lead with resolute defending until the 86th minute when goalkeeper Razak left his post to score.
