2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Week 2 Match Preview- Eleven Wonders vs Ebusua Dwarfs

Published on: 19 November 2020

Buoyed by their spirited performance against Asante Kotoko, Techiman Eleven Wonders will head into matchday two of the Ghana Premier League against Ebusua Dwarfs with their heads high.

Both sides go into the game after comeback draws on the opening day of the season.

Prince Okraku fetched a late equalizer for Eleven Wonders against Asante Kotoko in Accra, a game they could have won easily if not for being profligate in the first half.

Tactically, Wonders were on top of their game against Kotoko and will fancy their chances as they host Dwarfs at their favourite Ohene Ameyaw Park.

Dwarfs had to salvage a point on matchday one against Elmina Sharks through goalkeeper Razak Issah, who scored from a freekick to make it 2-2.

Dwarfs don't have a good record at the Ohene Ameyaw Park, having lost against Wonders in 2018 before picking a point in the truncated 2019/20 season.

Midfielder Salifu Ibrahim and Rashid Mohammed were outstanding for Eleven Wonders on the opening day and remain key players ahead of the encounter. Wonders have no injury worries and are expected to start the same eleven against Dwarfs on Friday.

Meanwhile, Dwarfs will be counting on captain Dennis Korsah and George Asamoah to produce the magic in Techiman.

Probable Starting line up

Eleven Wonders: John Moosie, Tetteh Nortey, Mohammed Rashid, Simms Kwayie, Felix Akolor, Prince Baffoe, Andrews Kuma, Abdul Mugeez, Amankwa Frank, Prince Okraku, and Sule Musa.

Ebusua Dwarfs Razak Issah, Emmanuel Anaful, Prince Kpodo, Simon Martey, Dennis Korsah, George Asamoah, Martin Tsiboah, Seidu Abubakar, Obed Bentum, Michael Asamoah, and Benjamin Acquah.
