2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Week 21 Match Preview- Aduana Stars v Elmina Sharks

Published on: 25 April 2021

Aduana Stars will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host Elmina Sharks at home on Sunday.

The Fire Club are in need of oxygen after their 4-0 demolition at Bechem United last week.

Coach Asare Bediako will be without influential forward Yahaya Mohammed - who has been granted medical leave.

The Dorma-based side head into the encounter against a side which has been in the news for all the wrong reasons within the week.

Sharks are without head coach Nii Odartey Lamptey - who has resigned from the club despite massive defiance by the club, claiming he is on travel leave.

Lamptey has left the job over lack of professionalism despite winning three games and losing one in four matches.

It appears a mounting task for stop gap coach Sam Addo who leads the troop to the dreaded Nana Agyemang Badu II park for the crunch tie.

Aduana are a point above the Fearsome Sharks on 11th position with 27 points while Sharks are on 26 points.

The two-time Premier League winners are overwhelming favourites to clinch maximum points with an array of stars at their disposal expected to recover against the Elmina-based side.
