2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Week 21 Match Preview- Inter Allies vs King Faisal
Inter Allies

Relegation-threatened Inter Allies and King Faisal will battle it out for the three points in this matchday 21 fixture of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

The two sides are bottom on the league table with Inter Allies on 16 points and 17th placed King Faisal on 19 points.

Inter Allies lost away to Hearts of Oak on matchday 20 by a lone goal at the Accra Sports Stadium, a result which continues to decrease their chances of surviving in the ongoing campaign.

The 'Eleven is to one' side have been poor this season and have also struggled to perform.

With over 16 matches to be played in the second half of the season, Inter Allies could turn their season around to avoid the slip.

King Faisal managed to pick a point against AshantiGold at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in their last fixture.

A win for King Faisal could see them catch up with Liberty Professionals on points should the Dansoman based side also drop points against Berekum Chelsea at Sogakope.

President of King Faisal Alhaji Karim Grusah has appealed to the fans to pray for the club during this month of Ramadan in order to avoid relegation.

“I’m asking members of the club to help King Faisal in prayers because we have done everything possible to win games but the balls are simply not entering the post. Against AshantiGold we hit the back of the post and crossbar on a couple of occasions. The ball just refused to go in. I am making a passionate plea to my Muslim brothers to remember King Faisal in your Ramadan prayers,” he told Accra-based Peace FM.

The race to avoid relegation will be keenly contested this season as teams placed 13th on the league table are all liable to be relegated.

Inter Allies and King Faisal are desperate for the win in this game.

The first meeting between these two sides on matchday four ended in a favor of King Faisal as they recorded a 1-0 win over Inter Allies at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
