Karela United left it late to post a 2-1 over ten-man Bechem United at the CAM Park on Sunday, 9 May 2021 in the Ghana Premier League.
Striker Reginald Thompson climbed off the bench to score the match-winner in the 75th minute.
He had come on after 53 minutes to replace the experienced Kwame Boateng.
The hosts took the lead in the 18th minute through striker Diawisie Taylor when he converted a spot-kick.
Bechem United were later reduced to ten men when captain Moro Salifu was sent off for a red card offence.
But the Hunters kept on believing and just before the half time whistle snatched the equalizer courtesy a Kofi Agbesimah connection.
After the leveller, Bechem played a compact game and made things difficult for the home side.
Karela United's second half substitutions helped to unlock that rearguard and finally were lucky to bag the points thanks to Thompson's goal.
