2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Week 25 Match Preview - Ebusua Dwarfs vs. Dreams FC

Published on: 16 May 2021

Ebusua Dwarfs will come up against Dreams FC at the Cape Coast stadium on Monday in round 25 of the Ghana Premier League with relegation dogfight in sight.

The Abontoa Abontoa Boys are only one point above the drop zone and anything short of victory will not be welcomed by the home fans.

Dwarfs go into the match on the back of a 2-1 loss to Asante Kotoko SC last Thursday having taken the lead.

A big howler by goalkeeper Razak Issah let his team down.

Ernest Thompson Quartey is expected to bench goalkeeper Issah on Monday following his blunder against Asante Kotoko.

Quartey have all his players available for selection to face Dreams as there are no suspensions or injuries in camp.

Dwarfs lost 2-0 in the reverse fixture at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

Dreams thrashed King Faisal Babes 3-0 in the midweek to rekindle their hopes of finishing within the top six places at the end of season.

They are currently occupying the 8th position on the league standings with 37 points. A victory on Monday will see them climb up the ladder to the 5th place.

The Believers have been poor on the road recently having managed to pick just one point in the last four away matches.

Dreams hope to change the story this time by claiming all maximum points.

Captain Michael Agbekpornu is back to full fitness and will be leading the side on Monday against the Crabs.

Serbian trainer Vladislav Viric will have a fully strength squad to choose his match day team from for Monday's fixture.
