WAFA have second straight home match but this time they can let the points slip throw their hands when they entertain Aduana Stars on Wednesday, 23 June 2021.

The Academy Boys on Sunday failed to account for Dreams FC in Sogakope after settling for a 1-1 draw.

They took the lead but some flaky defending allowed the Still Believe Lads to snatch the equalizer before the break.

Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is likely to tweak his starting XI once to get his side back to winning ways.

Eric Asamany lacks the requisite match fitness but his return to the bench brings great joy.

But they are missing the services of midfielder Bortey Nii Gyashie who last complained of a knee injury.

For Aduana Stars, results have been fluctuating and the 2-0 win over Liberty Professionals at the weekend should be a morale booster.

Last month, the Fire Boys caused a huge upset in Accra when they stole a 3-2 win against Great Olympics.

Aduana Stars can draw inspiration from that and put WAFA to the sword but that will be a herculean task.

The former league champions are still without lead striker Yahaya Mohammed who is still in the treatment room.
