Ten-man Inter Allies look to have confirmed themselves as relegation candidates after suffering a 2-0 defeat at home to Liberty Professionals.
Liberty opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Brite Andoh converted from a close range finish after all the good work on the flank by Evans Owusu.
Five minutes before the interval, the visitors doubled their lead through Simon Appiah.
He fired in a free kick to make it back-to-back goals in the league from a set-piece.
Just before the half time whistle, Inter Allies were reduced to ten men when defender Emmanuel Agyemang Badu got sent off.
The centre back accumulated two yellow cards.
Four minutes into the second half, Nafiu Sulemana tried his luck from distance with a curler but it was feeble to beat the Liberty goalkeeper.
Substitute Richard Arthur fired from distance but the Liberty goalkeeper did well to pull a save.
Later on, Liberty Professionals were awarded a penalty after Adamu Amadu was brought down inside the box.
But substitute Abraham Wayo had his kick saved by Gideon Ahenkorah.
