WAFA have climbed up to third on the Ghana Premier League table after a 1-0 victory over relegated Inter Allies.
The decisive goal came as early as the 5th minute courtesy of Alhassan Seidu who scored from close range.
Ten minutes later, Inter Allies had their best opportunity of the game as they were awarded a penalty.
But they squandered it as WAFA goalkeeper Boliver Sarfo Owusu made a great save.
WAFA were happy to end the game with a clean sheet and three points in their pursuit of a top finish.
