Aduana Stars were victors in their last league game of the season to finish the 2020/2021 on a bright note on Sunday at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro.

The Ogya Boys recorded a 2-1 victory over Karela United FC to ensure their home invincibility is intact.

Aduana is the only side in the premiership not have lost at home this term managing 13 victories and drawing 4 times.

Aduana got the breakthrough as early as the 6th minute with Charles Gyamfi Camara netting his first premiership goal of the season.

The Fire Boys got the second goal of the encounter in the 70th minute through Benjamin Tweneboah.

Diawisie Taylor got the consolation for Karela on the stroke of full-time as he scored from the spot.

Taylor took his tally of the campaign to 18 goals as he finishes the season as the highest top scorer.

Goalkeeper Masawudu Inusah was sent off in the second half as Aduana ended the match with ten men.

Inusah replaced first choice goalkeeper Joseph Addo in the 53rd minute following an injury.

Aduana ended the season at the 4th position on the league standings with 55 points whereas Karela finished at the 8th place with 46 points.
