2020 Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualifications postponed amid widespread of Coronavirus

The 2020 Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualifications have been postponed, CAF have announced.

Amid the widespread of the Coronavirus outbreak, CAF have decided to put a hold on all their competitions until further notice.

CAF announced the decision on Friday following the confirmation of cases of the pandemic disease in some African countries.

The first round of the qualifiers was scheduled to take place from 8th to 14th April 2020.

The Black Queens were supposed to enter the qualifications at the second round facing the winner between Guinea Bissau and the Gambia.

Eleven countries are expected to book their place for the tournament joining the host nation which is slated for later date this year.

It is the very first time the continent's Women's flagship competition will see twelve nations competing for the ultimate.
