Great Olympics forward Maxwell Nii Abbey Quaye was named man of the match in their home win against city rivals Accra Lions FC on Sunday night.

Abbey Quaye bagged the first hatrick of the Ghana Premier League this season as Olympics cruised to a 3-1 comfortable win.

Abbey Quaye opened the scoring of the match with a brilliant finish in the 21st minute after a pass from James Akaminko.

The newly-promoted side levelled matters 12 minutes after recess with a header from their captain Richmond Tetteh Ankrah.

The 23-year-old restored the lead for the Wonder Boys in the 64th minute after he was played through by midfielder George Asamoah.

Abbey Quaye completed his hatrick four minutes later after scoring from the spot.
