2021/22 Ghana Premier League: Week 14 Match Preview - Dreams FC vs. Aduana Stars

Published on: 23 January 2022

Dreams FC in search for their very first win in 2022 will welcome Aduana Stars to the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Monday in the Ghana Premier League.

The "Still Believe" side seek to end their five matches winless streak with a win in the matchday 14 fixture against Aduana.

Dreams are yet to register a win in the premiership since their last one on 15 December 2021 when they beat Karela United FC 3-1.

It has been two defeats and three draws for Vladislav Viric's team ever since.

Dreams are also without a win in their last two home games in the league, a 2-2 draw against Hearts of Oak and a 1-0 loss to Legon Cities FC.

Viric and his lads have gained some confidence from last midweek's FA Cup triumph over Nania FC ahead of Monday's fixture.

Dreams have a full squad available for selection with the return of wonderkid Abdul Fatawu Issahaku back from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Aduana will have their title ambitions tested again on Monday following their recent dip in form having managed only one win in their last four matches.

Asante Kotoko SC have now opened a six-point gap at the top of the league standings and for Aduana to catch up, they need to beat Dreams.

The Fire Boys needed a penalty to rescue a point last week against 10-man newly-promoted side Accra Lions FC in Dormaa.

They made amends in a grand style in the FA Cup last Wednesday when they thrashed lower-tier side Berekum Freedom Fighters 5-0.

Asare Bediako and his team will be counting on that resounding victory to regain confidence for Monday's match in Dawu.

Aduana travel for the match with a fully strength squad.
