2021/22 Ghana Premier League: Week 16 Match Preview- Karela United v Legon Cities

Published on: 06 February 2022

Karela United will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to six games when they hosts Legon Cities at the Crosby Awuah Park on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

The Anyinase boys have not lost a game since the defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars on December 26, having won three and drawn two of their last five matches.

Meanwhile, Legon Cities are having a topsy-turvy campaign, winning two, losing two and drawing one of their last five games.

Karela United have had a very good home record this season, as they are yet to taste defeat at the Crosby Awuah Park, while their visitors hold a poor away record.

Karela United seem to have found their goal scoring despite losing top scorer Diawisie Taylor at the end of last season.

Legon Cities will be counting on forward Hans Kwoffie to rediscover his form if they are to take something from Anyinase.

While Karela United are chasing a top four finish, a defeat for Legon Cities means they drop to the relegation zone.
