Osuman Kassim's equalizer three minutes to full-time saw Accra Lions travel to Elmina to share the spoils with Sharks in a dramatic encounter at the Ndoum Park on Sunday.

Two minutes after Ismael Antwi broke the game's deadlock by giving Elmina Sharks the lead, the visitors fought back to claim a point.

Accra Lions thought they had won the game in injury time after Fredrick Asante scored but the referee ruled the goal out.

Both sides offered little in the first half as they approached the game cautiously.

However, the game came alive in the second half with the two sides creating chances but were wasteful in front of goal.

The last five minutes provided what fans wanted when Ismael Antwi opened the scoring for the hosts in fronts of hundreds of fans.

Accra Lions showed resilience and defender Osuman Kassim grabbed the equalizer to set up a frenzy closing.

Just when the game was about to end, Asante scored what should have been a perfect goal but the referee though other wise.

Elmina Sharks next travel to Dawu to play Dreams FC While Accra Lions hosts Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.
