League leaders King Faisal held Accra Lions to a draw at the Sogakope Park in this mid-week fixture.

The game was scheduled to come off at the Accra Sports Stadium but was moved to Sogakope WAFA park due to the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium for maintenance works on the pitch.

Adams Abdul Jabal came up with a great save to deny Accra Lions from scoring in the opening minutes of the game.

King Faisal nearly find the back of the net in the 17th minute through Zubairu Ibrahim but his shot missed the target by inches.

In the 30th minute Mawuli Wayo tried to connect from a cross by Atta Kusi but his effort went wide.

Accra Lions top scorer Rauf came up with a chance to break the deadlock from a free header but King Faisal goalkeeper was up to the task to save the ball.

King Faisal goalkeeper Abdul Jabal Adams saved the away side from conceding a goal with a brilliant save in the 50th minute.

Osman Ibrahim missed a sitter for King Faisal in the 70th minute to deny the away side from picking all three points in this game.

The two sides shared the spoils after regulation time at the Sogakope Park.
