Elmina Sharks secured their first three points of the season with a 2-1 victory over Bibiani Goldstars in the Ghana Premier League.
Sharks after a draw and two defeats in first three games came into this one fired up to end their run of poor results.
Forward Enock Agblenyo gave Sharks the lead in the 32nd minute following a dominant performance and held on till halftime.
Two minutes after the halftime break Goldstars stunned the home fans as they drew level courtesy Prince Owusu.
But Sharks went ahead again with Mustapha Alhaji scoring in the 79th minute, a reward for their constant pressure.
Sharks thanks to victory have moved up from the relegation zone to 10th while Goldstars are 11th following the defeat.
