Popular musician Shatta Wale was the target for some Nigerians who trolled Ghanaians after the senior national team, Black Stars embarrassing exit from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Nigerians attacked the Ghanaian dancehall artiste on Twitter, the same premium used by Shatta Wale to ‘disrespect’ Nigeria music, leading to social media feud between Shatta Wale and Burna Boy early this year.

Although both artistes have calmed down, some Nigerians are still mad at Shatta Wale and criticised him on Tuesday evening after Black Stars lost 3-2 to debutants Comoros.

The Black Stars’ campaign ended on Tuesday evening after losing 3-2 to debutants Comoros in Garoua. This followed opening day defeat against Morocco and 1-1 draw with Gabon, meaning Black Stars collected a single point from a possible nine in three games.

Since Ghana’s maiden appearance at Sudan 1957, this is the first time they would be crashing out of the group stage without winning a match. They last failed to progress from their Afcon group in 2006 (Egypt).
