2021 Africa Cup of Nations: The agenda is to get to the final- Ghana forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom

Ghana forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom has disclosed that the team is poised for a win against Gabon on Friday at the Stade Amadou Ahidjou in Yaounde.

The Black Stars lost their opening Group C game against Morocco on Monday by a lone goal scored by Southampton flop Sofiane Boufal.

Ghana faces another opposition in Gabon who has been boosted by the arrival of captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

The former Arsenal captain missed the opening game against Comoros after contracting the COVID-19.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom who was present at the pre-match conference with Coach Milovan Rajevac indicated that the team has put the defeat to Morocco behind them and they are focused on winning against Gabon on Friday.

"Morale in camp is to get a win against Gabon, the agenda is to make sure we get to the final, the Morocco defeat is behind us now"

The Beitar Jerusalem attacker also revealed that goal-scoring opportunities which were missed in the game against Morocco will be corrected in the second game.

The former Juventus striker made his debut in the AFCON in Ghana's defeat to Morocco on Monday.
