It was all glamour and excitement at the Grand Arena inside the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday night when the Ghana Football Awards was held.
The ceremony did not only see footballers being honoured but clubs, officials, and legends of the game were also awarded.
At the end of the ceremony, Hearts of Oak emerged as the big winners scooping home three top awards.
Besides being name the Men’s Team of the Year at the 2021 Ghana Football Awards, head coach Samuel Boadu and talisman Ibrahim Salifu were also named âMen’s coach of the Year’ and âHome-Based Player of the Year’ respectively.
Meanwhile, Black Stars captain Andre Ayew also took home the ultimate prize, âFootballer of the Year’ while Asamoah Gyan was recognized as the âPlayer of the Decade.
