2022 World Cup qualifiers: Black Stars expect full house today after last night's arrivals

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac will be hoping to have his full squad for training on Tuesday before the team departs for South Africa for the game against Ethiopia.

Fifteen players trained on Monday as the team started preparations for the final two games of Group G in the World Cup qualifiers.

Captain Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew led a team that had returnee Richmond Boakye Yiadom and newcomer Edmund Addo as they brushed aside Golden Kicks in a friendly.

The Black Stars trained on Tuesday morning but will be waiting for the rest of the players before leaving Ghana for the match on November 11, 2021.

Midfielder Thomas Partey and defender Gideon Mensah have been ruled out of the games because of injuries.

AS Roma forward Felix Afena-Gyan is also expected to miss the trip after he reportedly turned down the invite from the Black Stars coach.

Ghana is hoping to make a return to the global stage after missing the World Cup in 2014.

A win over Ethiopia and victory over South Africa will guarantee Ghana a place in the play-offs.
